The studio is in the basement level of my home in Decatur, GA. There is driveway and street parking. There are 6 steps with a handrail from the main level to the studio. In the event you have allergies, its important to know that there are small friendly pets that live in the home

Deposits are non-refundable. If absolutely necessary, you'll be offered a one-time opportunity to reschedule your session if you provide at least 48 hours notice, otherwise your deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required. If the photographer must cancel for any reason, your deposit will be refunded or transferred to a new agreed-upon date. Arriving more than 30 minutes after your scheduled appointment time may result in an automatic cancellation and forfeiture of all fees paid.

A look is a wardrobe or background change.

No, hair and makeup is not included. For short hair, I recommend getting a haircut a few days before your session.  Makeup is applied differently for stage, tv, and the camera, and I have noticed that photoshoots have best results when it has been applied professionally. 

Please bring clothing items on hangers and whatever you need for last minute hair and makeup touch ups. Feel free to pack a few more options than we will intend on shooting. As soon as you arrive, we will take a look at what you brought, discuss goals for the session and create a game plan!

There is a bathroom right next to the studio that you may use to change clothing and touch up makeup and hair!

Select your “looks” and make sure clothing items are clean and wrinkle free. Get some rest the night before, drink lots of water, and refrain from consuming alcohol! If at any time you are stressed about your session or have any questions, contact me!

Yay, me too! Yes, I will direct and pose you! I have been specializing in portraiture for over a decade and I know how to give directions and prompts so you look comfortable and authentic.

ItemIf you are under 18, I require a parent or guardian to attend your session. Otherwise, I strongly encourage clients to come to their session alone. I find most clients are distracted by a guest (they usually look really bored on the couch!) and I need your full attention and energy to get the best possible images

You will receive a link to an online proof gallery within 72 hours of your shoot. Once you have picked your favorites, the high resolution/retouched files will be ready for download within 10 business days.

My goal with retouching is to help you look your best while keeping the images natural looking. When it comes to retouching, a little bit goes a long way. In addition to color and exposure adjustments, my process includes removing major blemishes, softening lines and under-eyes, and cleaning up fly-aways. I only remove scars, freckles, and beauty marks by request. I want you to love your photos, so if there is something you need, lets discuss!

I do not release un-retouched/raw photos. I want to deliver my best, finished work!

Since most of my clients come from referrals, I love it when you share your photos on your various pages. I respectfully ask for proper credit/tags, and a link to my website when possible. If you’re not sure, just ask!
